The Disney Fantasy is the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. The big ship has fun for the entire family. The Fantasy offers one-week Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises out of Port Canaveral.
Disney Fantasy was designed for families. Stateroom choices include large fancy suites, verandahs, oceanviews, and inside. Inside staterooms have animated "magical portholes".
Youth Clubs include the Arr-cade video games, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (for princess makeovers), Muppets Adventure Game, and D Lounge (where parents and kids play games and enjoy live entertainment together). For tots age 3 and under, the It's a Small World Nursery is available. The Oceaneer's Club has 4 themed areas -- Andy's Room (Toy Story), Monsters Academy (Monsters Inc.), Pixie Hollow (Tinkerbell), and Explorer Pod (Finding Nemo). In the Oceaneer Lab there is an animator's studio, media room, individual computers, sound studio, and craft studio. Vibe is for teens age 14 to 17, with an indoor lounge and an outdoor deck.
On the Disney Fantasy, water fun for the whole family includes the AquaDuck water coaster ride -- a tube ride that goes through the ship's forward funnel and has a 4-deck drop. AquaLab is a water play area with jets, geysers and bubblers. Donald's pool is the family pool. Mickey's Pool is the children's pool with its own slide. Nemo's Reef is a splash area for little ones.
Live musical shows are a big part of the entertainment, as is a 3D movie theater. Royal Court Royal Tea is a tea party with singing, dancing and Disney Princesses. Character Greetings are interactions with Disney characters. There are 3 pools -- one for kids, one for families, and one just for adults. Deck parties include the Sail-Away Celebration on embarkation day and Pirate Night with fireworks.
